Commercial Clients
Not every clientis a nonprofit.
The approach is the same. Businesses in closely held sectors, professional partnerships, and family-owned companies face a version of the same constraint: the counterparty in this dispute is someone you will encounter again. A vendor. A landlord. A former partner. Someone whose brother-in-law sits on your industry association.
The work is protecting your position without generating a story that follows you.
Contract and vendor disputes
Fee disputes, scope disagreements, performance failures, and the negotiated resolutions that end them.
Employment
Agreements, policies, performance management, separations, and internal complaints.
Commercial matters
Contract review and negotiation, business relationships, and the recurring legal questions that come with running a company.
Reputation
Assessment and response where a business faces public criticism, review manipulation, or statements by former employees.
What this is not
This is not a litigation practice.
Matters that need to be litigated are referred to litigation counsel, and I stay involved to keep strategy connected to your business rather than to the case. If you are looking for someone to take a matter to trial, I am not the right first call — though I can usually tell you who is.
